In the first quarter of 2024, sports games on Android have seen varying trends in downloads and user engagement across Europe. Sensor Tower provides insights into these trends for the top-performing applications in the sports category.

ELECTRONIC ARTS's EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile Soccer saw its downloads peak at 256K in late January, with a slight rise again to 238K by the end of March. Weekly active users (WAUs) started strong at 13.1M but tapered off to 10.9M by the quarter's end.

Football League 2024 by MOBILE SOCCER experienced its highest downloads at 220K in the last week of January, finishing the quarter with 179K downloads. WAUs showed a dip from 754K to 594K over the same period.

Real Freestyle Soccer's Soccer Superstar from Hong Kong had its downloads soar to 221K in early March, with WAUs fluctuating, eventually settling at 1.2M from a starting point of 1.4M.

Miniclip.com's 8 Ball Pool from Switzerland maintained a consistent download trend, peaking at 242K in mid-January and ending with 137K in late March. The WAUs saw a high of 2M in mid-January, closing the quarter at 1.9M.

Lastly, Masomo Gaming's Head Ball 2 - Online Soccer from Finland hit a high with 203K downloads in late January and ended the quarter at 135K. The WAUs followed a similar trajectory, peaking at 1.5M in late January and dipping to 1.2M by March's end.
